kartini's Month Fashion Show I don't know why being able to wear as shoe out of the house, while driving, on the course, and out after the round is so important, but it is really enjoyable. i'm not going to be wearing these things when not golfing, but versatility is amazing and they do look great. i can't even tell that the bottom is studded even when i'm walking on pavement or concrete. i haven't noticed a difference in grip from these to my old FJ contours, so that's a positive as well. you could save yourself a few bucks and go with the FJ street shoes which have a similar look, but to me they don't fit as well and don't look like they're going to hold up for as long as these will. i'll report back if i have any issues with these breaking down, but for now they couldn't be better.

These shoes are super cute, and very stable. They do require a little bit of a break-in due to the sides of the foot and the front of the shoe. Other than that, they are great little shoes.

So before ordering it better go to a bike store and try them on. See what size your feet are in Shimano's scale :). The shoes are quite rigid. I really like it. Wraps the foot nice and tight. I leave the bottom velcro a little loose. The middle one tight. And the top one real snug. It has a reflective stripe on the heel cup. I take a star because of the sizing. Other than that the shoes are great.

Then I tried to figure out how to charge the watch. And I tried. And I tried. And while I'd like to think I' not an idiot, it's not easy to find the small bevel to expose the USB port on the watch. I actually went online to download the manual from Nike's website and even then, it's not too much help. Again, either I'm really that dumb or it's really poorly documented.Next, the software download to my computer went very smoothly. All I had to do was dock the phone to my Windows 7 laptop and there were no issues.My first outdoor run went just fine. I could see exactly what I expected. GPS worked as expected.Unfortunately, I don't run outdoors very much. And here's where this watch goes from being useful to being a paperweight. If you're going to run on a treadmill, you need to use the Nike+ sensor. I don't wear Nike's because of the fit. So I've got to find a way to attach the sensor to my shoe. There are a lot of hacks on how to do this online but it's not convenient. Next I was hoping to get my Polar heart rate to sync with the watch. No joy.
